By accessing and using the services provided on the HULM platform (https://hulmcounselling.com/), you (“you”) and any other user (as defined below) agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including any future amendments. References to “we,” “us,” or “our” refer to HULM. The term “User” refers to any individual utilizing the HULM platform, whether directly or through a booking made on their behalf by you.

Definitions

For the purposes of these terms and conditions:

• Service Provider: Refers to HULM, its professionals, and its affiliated mental health practitioners.
• Client/Patient/User: Any individual using or seeking mental health services from HULM website, either for themselves or as a legal guardian for a minor or incapacitated individual.
• Sessions/Sitting/: Any online or offline meetings scheduled with the HULM Service provider.
• Mental Health Professional: Certified individual qualified to provide mental health care services, such as counselors, and therapists.
• Confidentiality: The duty to protect all personal information provided by the client/patient, as outlined in Section 23 of the Mental Healthcare Act, 2017.
• Data Protection: Refers to the secure handling of personal and health data, in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, and other applicable laws.

Services Offered

HULM provides mental health services including, but not limited to, counseling, therapy, psychological assessments, workshops, and wellness programs. The scope of services will be explained to the client/patient before commencement, and any changes to the scope will be communicated promptly.

Confidentiality

HULM respects the privacy and confidentiality of all clients/patients. Information disclosed during therapy, counseling, or any other service will be kept confidential, except in the following situations:

• Where disclosure is required by law (such as court orders).
• Where there is a risk of harm to the client/patient or others.
• When disclosure is necessary to safeguard public health or to prevent a crime.

Data Protection

HULM adheres to the principles of data protection and privacy laws as mandated by the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Mental Healthcare Act, 2017. All personal and health-related data provided by clients/patients will be securely stored and only accessible to authorized personnel.

Payment Terms

• Payment for services must be made at the end of booking sessions on our website.
• Clients/patients/users who wish to reschedule sessions can do so anytime before 24 hours of their scheduled session.
• No sessions can be canceled but rescheduled
• We do not follow any refunds on session cancellations or missing appointments.

There will be no refunds provided for any session cancellations. Once a session is booked and payment is made, the fee is non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation or non-attendance.

Limitation of Liability

HULM strives to provide high-quality mental health services but does not guarantee specific outcomes or results.

HULM shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, or incidental damages resulting from the use of its services, except where required by law.

HULM does not provide emergency mental health services. In case of a mental health emergency, clients/patients/users should contact local authorities or emergency services.
